Lately, this question has led to a journey in my life. It’s a very interesting question, BE when you grow up. What we really talk about is what we will DO, not be. I do speaking, coaching, and personal development.
I am good at what I do.
But have I really learned to BE what I am intended to be?
Ok, deep huh! I am on a journey of being, versus doing. For the first time in my life, I am allowing it to be. Being is all about this vision. This vision of working with entrepreneurs on the REAL shit, not just sales and marketing.
And it’s funny when I talk with friends, they always m
ove the conversation to doing! So I step back and just BE with the idea or suggestion. I find just being hard. For example, I recently had an experience with my husband that was very much being: present. In the moment. Connected. IT WAS AWESOME. Then two days later I found myself trying to recreate that moment, doing what it took to have all of that again. And guess what? It sucked! I needed to just BE again.
Now don’t get me wrong, to have tremendous success, I need to DO THINGS. There is no way around it. BEing is powerful shit though. BEing is about real visibility, truly allowing the Warrior to become vulnerable…that kind of being
is powerful.
This process of being is the cornerstone to my newest program True Transcendence: A Warrior’s Journey to Success and Happiness.
Can you Be versus do? Can you define yourself without talking about the things you do?
