I love Sunday morning. Even when I feel I could sleep in longer, I get up while my husband is still sleeping. I grind those beans and brew coffee. There is nothing moving in the house or neighborhood. It is so quiet and peaceful! I love sitting in my living room and reading, or sometimes I indulge and watch a movie!
I love Sunday morning even more when my hubby takes an extra hour and “man caves” in the bedroom when he wakes up and watches some TV!!
This moment, even if it only lasts an hour, is one of the extraordinary moments in my life. It is one of those times when I am totally at peace with ME. It’s interesting, because last week I wrote about being versus doing. And Sunday mornings I am being. I think allowing myself to just be, allows me to do the things I need to do for success.
Trust me, I am always me (my clients will tell you they love that about me, you get the same Ann no matter what!), life has this way of supporting the disconnection between Be and DO. It is so easy to get into “what do I need to do next” without connecting to who we are, what makes us most us. In my “Vision of Your Most Influential Self” program I teach about the 6 core areas we need to nurture for success. Sunday morning nurtures my spirit.
Sunday morning gives me strength to be me.
