The Power of Centering for Success

The Power of Centering for Success

The ritual of centering, and creating a sacred space. Such an important part of energizing and creating balance in your life. Every time I have a women’s conference, my MasterMind retreat, or my women’s retreat it’s even more important. These are the “big things” in my work. When I have a group of amazing women showing up, ready to be vulnerable, to step in, reach, and grow, I must have the strength to hold the container.

Centering.

One obvious centering ritual is just to be sure that I energetically channel what I think is important in the material for those that are showing up. I write each of their names on the cover of the workbook and flip through the pages feeling the vibe and energy. I visualize the energy and breakthroughs that will happen while we are together. I feel laughter and love.

Of course I will be open to possibilities and what needs show up in the room! That’s why this centering ritual is about energy and heart.

Centering also requires that I nurture self.

Painting my nails is one of my favorite! Of course, Earl picked the colors, LOL. I adore the ritual of painting my nails, feeling pretty,  feminine and strong. I am even more centered by having someone nurture me in such a simple way by picking colors for my nails. Simply out of love.

Centering is a powerful  way to indulge in your senses, your spirit, and the strength of who you are. It allows me to be more of who I need to be in the world. Sometimes it’s just simple things that create that power.

Do you have simple rituals that encourage you to center?

Crying Energy and Feminine Power

Crying Energy and Feminine Power

Some days all I do is cry. I’m crying because I’m scared. Happy. Sad. Angry. Frustrated. In love. Hurt. Elated. Weary. Energized. I cry watching TV. (Yes, even commercials.)

On those days I just keep indulging in the tears. And that’s ok. Some days it’s exactly what I need.

Being able to emotionally connect and not feel guilty is so powerful for us as women. Too often we hear we are too emotional so we cut off feeling. Feeling, and trusting our feelings is truly feminine power. Besides there is a difference between expressing your feelings and being “emotional.”

On days I cry, I may look emotional on the outside.  In reality, it is my way of connecting with myself and my vulnerability. It is the energetic expression of my feminine energy. I am feeling. I am being that present in the moment.

Indulging as a Coach

Indulging as a Coach

Indulgence. The beauty of being a coach is being able to fully indulge in the experience of your clients, and people who show up to learn from you even for a moment in time.

I recall a fun, intense, and joyous experience learning and growing in the spirit of harmony together. As the facilitator and leader of my program empowering women; it was exhilarating as they were implementing it. I am overjoyed to watch the insights, emotions, and revelations.

I also recall an amazing VIP session with the client. The beautiful thing? We met at a taproom! How joyous is it to indulge in breakthroughs with a client. “Tapping” (lol) into the clarity that’s needed to reach the next level, all over a beer and a burger!

I am indulging in the beauty that is my life with my clients. Do you indulge with your clients? How so?

Great Love Takes Courage

Great Love Takes Courage

It takes courage to allow love and acceptance in your life. Strength to love another more deeply, intensely. See, great love requires that you are willing to suffer great loss. Deep pain. Potentially being hurt or let down.

Courage is having the ability to do something that frightens you. I think most would say they want love in their lives, and they are ready and willing. Think about it: you must be willing to take the risk of loss and devastation to have it.

I remember when I realized that loving Earl so much meant I feared loosing him even more. It’s the moment I realized I had found love that many only dream of. That’s courage.

Have you had the courage love greatly? To risk the pain that could come with it?

Making Positive Energy Choices

Making Positive Energy Choices

In everything we choose our energy. Too often we are unconscious of the energetic choices we make. It is quite possible to be conscious and choose to shift and transfer different energy in a situation!

Yes you can shift to negative, that’s not my goal with you though! Negative energy is around us all the time, it’s how we can shift to the positive instead of feeding the negative energy with even more.

Like when your significant other is being poopy. Unconsciously we may feel frustrated, even snipe back, or shut down. Transferring more negative energy. Turning an evening into an unfun, disconnected, negative night.

Or you can consciously choose to let it go, shift to positive, and change the energy. If you’ve done it you know it works. Poopy goes away.

This is also true in any situation. When you focus on the negative you grow more negative. I recall in a program I was speaking. The room had tons of background noise, almost like construction. I chose not to focus on it. Putting my positive energy into the room and participants.

Another speaker mentioned it to me privately. Even said she’d go complain for me and see if there was another room. I simply said: “thank you, I’m just choosing not to focus my energy there, and creating a space where people don’t notice.” Later she interrupted the group and asked them! And guess that their response was: “I really didn’t notice it until you pointed it out.”

When you choose you can change any situation. Yes, you have that power within you.
