Do You Know Your Marketing Goal?

Do You Know Your Marketing Goal?

Most of us know WHAT marketing is; ads, direct contact, speaking, social media, blogging, referrals, networking…

Maybe the more important question is HOW.

There are some VERY complicated answers to this question, for sure. Fortunately, I have a simple way of thinking about it, that I teach my clients and you want to be sure that you think along these lines as you develop your plan, write, and speak.
Goal of your marketing
Everything you develop should help you achieve at least ONE of the three goals above. Ask:
1-Does this tell a story so they know, like, and trust me? (like in your bio?)
2-Does this help them trust my ability to get the desired result? (like in a credibility blog?)
3-Will this show them that I understand THEM, their pain, their goals…in their words? (like on sales and landing pages?)

Think about this. Challenge yourself with each thing you create….what is my goal with this piece? Is it VULNERABILITY< >CREDIBILITY< >TRIBE?

See, marketing is about telling people over and over and over….while connecting and converting them into buyers through a message!

Commitment to The Plan

Day12LunchLiving a healthy lifestyle is an important part of my success. Recently my husband and I decided to go back on The Plan (an eating program developed by Lyn-Genet Recitas.) Two years ago we did it and had tremendous results, learning about the food we eat and what keeps us healthy and energized. Since then we have continued to eat healthy, trying programs from other doctors and nutritionists. Of course the goal is always to stay healthy. Sometimes changing your eating habits keeps your body sharp and in tune.
I wanted to go back on The Plan because I felt that it really helped the first time we tried it. I felt like I needed to re-test foods and how they are impacting my body, energy and emotions once again. The Plan, I knew, was how to do that.

Starting The Plan has been work! I’d forgotten that part. I think she named it The Plan for a reason! It takes planning, preparedness, prep, you name it! I have flashbacks now from two years ago and just being exhausted from all the food prep, cooking, and time spent in the kitchen. The funny thing is that much of the food is raw, but there is pretty strict menu plan that she wants you to use in order to have success.

The Plan absolutely works. Even just five days in I’ve already lost several pounds of weight, my energy is better, and I’m sleeping better!

It’s interesting to me because one of the things I tell entrepreneurs is that being successful in making the money you deserve and desire takes work! For example in my MasterMind one of the things they have to do is build a resource around their knowledge, it’s step two of the program. This takes a dedication to really do the work do the writing get in your mind clear about what it is you really do and how you can organize it. It’s a commitment, just like The Plan is for me if I want to have this healthy lifestyle.

Are you willing to make that commitment and have the kind of lifestyle or business you want?
